Turkish Airlines Apologizes for Flight Mix-up

Turkish Airlines had to make an apology to an American couple when they mixed up the couple’s flight, not only sending them to the wrong city, but to the wrong continent. The couple, Sandy Valdiviseo and Triet Vo, were planning to fly from Los Angeles to Dakar, the capital of Senegal, which is in Africa. However, they ended up in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, which is in Asia.

New Flights from Cambridge to Europe

There have been four new flights announced that will operate from Cambridge Airport to destinations on mainland Europe, including Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, and Geneva. The number of flights per week to each destination will be as follows: eight flights per week to Milan Malpensa Airport, 12 flights per week to Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport, 24 flights per week to Amsterdam, and six flights per week to Geneva.

Spring Airlines Plans to Launch Domestic Flights in Japan

Spring Airlines of China is preparing to launch domestic flights within Japan. Hiroshi Ugai, president of Spring Airlines Japan Co., said they are at the stage of promoting procedures with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and that they are waiting until later to announce their business strategy.
