Direct Flights from Perth to China Are Popular Tuesday, 22 May 2012 China Southern Airlines has now completed its first six months of flights from Perth to Chinese cities of Beijing and Ghangzhou and they are showing very positive results. Passenger loads for the route have been between 65% and 80%, with the numbers hitting their peak in December and January, although at this time the airline has no plans to expand the service. Some Virgin Atlantic Flights to Allow Cell Phone Usage Monday, 21 May 2012 While so many Virgin Atlantic passengers turn on their mobile phones and make a phone call as soon as they land, those on some flights will soon be able to make those calls from the air. By the end of the year, passengers on some of these flights will be able to connect to the internet in order to make calls and send and receive email and text messages. This is by no means new as many other European airlines, such as Emirate Airlines and Malaysia Airlines, have been offering this service for years. Read more...   Frontier Flights to Great Falls Start Today Tuesday, 15 May 2012 Frontier Airlines has received financial incentives to start flights out of Great Falls and those flights start today. However, an airline spokesperson said that the people of Great Falls will have to work hard to fill those seats in order to keep the flights. The route between Denver and Great Falls will be operated on an Embraer 190, which seats 99 passengers.
