At the moment even state run airlines are slashing prices to get customers. It's no cheaper to go Ryan Air than it is to go BA right now in some cases.

Olympic Airways for instance are charging £185 for their scheduled Heathrow to Athens flight... the same one i paid £240 for last year..

So why bother with crappy service from Ryan Air?
