It seems that the unions are threatening to strike around Christmas time in protest at the job cuts and changes that BA intend to make.

indeed... balloting members now, and talking about going all out on the 20th December...

What a great idea.. force passengers to book with other airlines and therefore reduce BA's market sare even more... that'll help...

While I sympathise with people worried about their jobs (after all it could be me) i don't think strikes work... A strike in the holiday season will harm the business, perhaps beyond repairing.. then where will their jobs be?

I agree, if the company is in bad shape the unions are being foolish to strike at Christmas time. They will lose a lot of goodwill.

They are at it again, strikes announced to cause disruption over Easter. I can understand that the union is angry with BA but at this rate the company will loose loads of custom and people will be lose their jobs.
