Ryan Air again.. 2 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
following universal condemnation of their last wheeze to get more money out of passengers (charging to use the toilet on flights) They've come up with another idea.

Apparently they intend to do away with baggage handlers and make you take your suitcase to the plane yourself. The idea being that you take it to the plane and leave it by the steps, then at the other end, you pick it up from the bottom of the steps as you come off...

But they've not forgotten about the elderly or disabled passengers... you can have a special Ryan Air branded Porter take your bags for you... for a fee...

they're all heart..

I have no issue with carrying it myself, but I don't understand how they can sleep nights charging disabled people for the carry service.

it is just another illustration of how the supposed 'no frills' airlines make their money.. by the time you've paid for having luggage, and for someone to carry it, and for a guaranteed seat next to your partner and to go to the toilet, and for a cup of water, you might as well pay full scheduled air ticket for the same money.

I think Ryan Air are in a class of their own when it comes to things like this. People need to vote with their feet!

Paying for the use of the toilet has got to be the worst. I don't mind carrying my own suitcase but I can see how that would be harder for someone who is not able and to charge them a fee is ridiculous.
