A girl certainly can... MUST, in fact! Have you tried (silly as it may sound!) entering contests for cruises? I used to scoff at doing that but then one day about 8 years ago I was online and bored and entered some contests... I actually won a $1,000 shopping spree.

Problem with that is that you'd need to open a 'junk mail' mailbox just for contest junk that will start coming and then check it often to see if you won but it can be done. I've won a number of contests online... that one was just the biggest.

i'm too lazy for that Katharina, it involves work... hehhe... i can afford a cruise... just not that particular one... well.. not without selling my house!

Katharina, I used to enter competitions (not online) and I had some signifcant wins including a week for two in a health spa, and £1000 to buy a camcorder.

you lucky so and so's...i don't think i have ever won anything in any kind of contest. Not fair...

The question is have you entered any contests? As they say, you have to be in it to win it. Come to think of it, that doesn't seem to work when it comes to the lottery!

Hey...if we are talking of contests...hear this, About a month ago I just wrote my feedaback about a particular hotel in a trip advisor site...now a wek ago those guys mailed me that my advise was so nice that I won myself a 3 day 2 night package holiday for two!
I was just speaking my mind and look what I got!!
