We just returned from a trip to Lanzarote in Canary Islands. Our luxury hotel was almost as incredible as the surrounding Canary Islands.

We spent quite a bit of time exploring the beaches, Timanfaya National Park and of course, all the touristy shops around town. If you get a chance, checkout Playa Blanca. It's well worth it.

A friend's son just moved to the Canaray islands not long ago, so perhap sthere's a good excuse to go. I've seen the pictures - lovely scenery and beaches.
