If you're anywhere near Vermillion South Dakota, don't miss the National Music Museum. At any time there will be at least 800 instruments on display made up from the more than 13,500 items in its collection.

Some of the items to be found here are the six-string Spanish guitar on which Bob Dylan composed some of his earliest songs, many Stradivarius violins and a Rawlins Guitar which is one of only two documented guitars made by Stradivari known to survive.
