Now here's a great place to visit if you're ever in Waco - The Dr. Pepper Museum!.

According to their site:

A History of Dr Pepper, the World's Oldest Major Soft Drink Dr Pepper Company is the oldest major manufacturer of soft drink concentrates and syrups in the United States. It is America's unique flavor and was created, manufactured and sold beginning in 1885 in the Central Texas town of Waco.

I looooove Dr. P! I just have to figure out a way to get to Waco now....

Dr. Pepper has never been one of my favorites but it's an interesting thought wondering what kind of items they'd have to fill a whole museum.

I like Dr. Pepper too, but I go for the diet version.

It would be interesting seeing the museum, and kind of surreal knowing it's in Waco with it's other notoriety, I'd think.

I would have thought maybe Coke was the oldest American soft drink.

Thanks for Posting.. I'll be in the area next summer and I'm always looking for little places like this.. These are my favorite types of museums.. Sure the Smithsonian is fine too, but these little niche museums are awesome!
