i live in west somerset in the UK and people here go to local museums old mils and such like the milss give you a good idea of what life in the country used to be like we also have some great country pubs with a coal fire and a real homely feel to them it is like being in a home from home also we have a local steam railway here were you can travel in the old days of steam and there is nothing like going on a steam train much better than these modern trains in my opinion

It sounds so tranquil their. I would love to live in a place such as what you describe. I love the feel of the old _style_ pubs. We of course don't have them in my area.

I've never been on a steam train, that sounds great! I have fond memories of riding the rails throughout Europe in my youth, but as far as I can recall, none of them were steam powered.

LOL... Most of the trains here in Europe are powered by electricity, you can hear them when they stop, how it turns off the engine. But I guess that in some places there are still other steam powered trains.
