Best times to travel 4 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0  
Since I live in Europe, I travel pretty often and get cheap tickets buying in advance. But when I was living in the US, the best times to travel to Europe were in November, the week before thanksgiving, or even a couple of days before. The tickets at that time are amazingly cheap! Also February is a good month to travel to Europe. Of course, plan on seeing museums and indor activities since is very cold!

I agree. I think that the fall and winter season are better price wise than that of spring and summer.

I actually prefer traveling from October through March no matter where I'm going, not just to Europe. There's just something about that time of year that makes travel more exciting to me.

I have also found that traveling in the winter months is best. You can get a lot better deals.

The place we go most often during the winter is to the coast of Florida, but the Caribbean wouldn't be too shabby when it's cold everywhere else, either.
