The only train experience I've had was from Eugene, OR to LA. It was pretty much horrible and we nearly missed our grandson's birth. Are the trains in the midwest any better? I have a daughter in Omaha and we'd love to hopefully find something better than the megabucks plane ride we've taken so far to get to her.
