Do you use eco-friendly equipment? I just saw a tote bag that channels the sun's rays directly into your solar equipment, such as your phone. It's on a site called noonsolar.com

I've just started remembering to take my tote bag with me when I head out to the store.

That's a great idea for the solar panels on the bags. I wonder if anyone's designed a windbreaker or a jacket with those?

As a matter of fact, Scottevest has designed a few jackets with solar panels and pockets for charging things like I-pods.

These days I don't go anywhere without my Solio charger..

It was a gift to all the staff from our green concious Chairman.

http://www.solio.com/charger/

I take it on holiday with me, and i can charge phone, ipod and camera from the power it generates.. it comes with loads of adaptors and attachments to fit nearly everything.. Re-charges itself very quickly from solar power and folds up to the size of a bread roll when not in use so it is easy to carry.

I looked up your solio _link_, and that is one cool piece of equipment. Very versatile and resistant, and I see that President Obama has one also!

It is rather cool isn't it? Everyone in the company got one in an organic cotton bag as a personal christmas present from the boss. It means you don't have to worry about the power supply in foreign hotels, and having the correct adapter plug for your chargers etc. Just stick this on a window (comes with a sucker cup thingy to stick it with) let it fill up and then plug into your gadget.
