Zero Halliburton is now making expandable polycarbonate travel cases designed to meet the new strict airline weight restrictions as well as appeal to consumer demand for lighter luggage.

I'm sure you have seem Zero Halliburton cases, they are aluminum and look like they could survive just about anything thrown at them.

Considering the quality, the prices for their polycarbonate expandable zeroller are pretty reasonable, from $225 for a 19" to $425 for a 29" one.

You can check out their site for more.

Good find Polly.

Is this the same Halliburton that we hear so much about as a major contractor for the war in Iraq?

It's a pretty unique name that has a ton of negativity currently associated with it. I wonder how that will affect sales (if it is in fact the same company).

I have never heard of them before but that does seem to be a good price considering what they will charge you for being over weight. I also would like to know where you could buy these? Are they offered in regular department stores? thanks

I have never heard of this new luggage either. I don't fly all that much but I do have a friend that would really be interested in this luggage. She is forever flying off somewhere.

I saw on CNN Business Traveler a suitcase that was square and alse served as a seat for when you are waiting in line. Richard Quest demonstrated it, and I believe the name was ZERO, but it didn't look like the ones on the website. The only inconvenience was that it opened on the side.
