How many of youhave used a camera phone to take decent pictures when travelling...I know the newest ones are pretty cool but I still prefer my camera than the phone for a shot...

I love photography, but I keep my phone as a phone and use my camera to take photos, it works better for me that way.

well i use both regularly..

The camera phone is handy for impromptu shots where you might miss the shot completely if you try to get the camera out of the case etc...

You have a point, but my phone doesn't have a camera, I have never felt theneed for one. It seems that the more functions the phone has the more there is to go wrong.

I know what you mean stav1...it happens to me expecially when I have to quickly take the snap of a bird that might fly away...butthen although I take the picture with the camera phone...I always have this feeling that the outcome could have been better if I had used the camera instead.

Well I've never gone out of my way to get one, it just happens that when i upgrade my contract, they upgrade the phone as well, so I get a fancier model every time. The one I have now has a 5mpx camera attached.

I don't use it much, but have for instance just recently taken a couple of shots of my baby great nephew as he was throwing food that he didn't like.. shots i would not have gotten otherwise as i don't normally take a camera with me just to stop by and say hello to my neice on the way to the shops or whatever..
