I had a polaroid camera and I owned a casette p_layer_ but I don't remember ever taking that away with me.

I don't recall anything except a camera. That was just the way it was, I think people wre better able to sit quietly without any sort od entertainment back then. We did listen to the car radio sometimes.

I used to take loads of books. We used to do road trips when I was a kid, London to Athens, and it took about 3-4 days. I read dozens of books then. Pre gameboy!

I took a lot of books too and comics, we used to save the holiday specials to take on holiday. I also liked I-spy books, do you remember those Stav?

same with me a lot of books...in fact the attraction of the journey was the new books I got from my parents...they bought a few in the beginning of the joureny..knowing I'll be busy with them...later I did carry may walkman too...but books are still all time fav.
