Are you a fussy eater when you travel or do you eat everything local just to mingle in? What is that one local dish you experimented with and hated/loved it immensely..

What a great question! I try very hard to "do the local thing" while traveling. I like to experience the place where I am visiting & local food is a fun way to do that. I am *so* against doing the fast foods when traveling. I can get those at home!

One exception is that on our last road trip, we stopped at Chick-fil-A for a chicken breakfast burrito and a sweet tea. We don't have those restaurants here and it was a first for us. It quickly became a favorite.

There's not a particular local dish that comes to mind that I've loved or hated *but* I had my first bite of sushi while traveling and can't get enough of it now.

Yes, I am fussy, if I don't like the smell I don't eat it and if it contains garlic, onion or anything like that I will not eat it. I don't see why I should eat what the locals eat if it not something I would enjoy.
