Although I can't actually say I "believe" in ghosts, I love taking tours of places in cities that are supposed to be haunted. Do you have any favorite "haunts" that offer ghost tours?

So far, my favorite is Las Vegas. A lot of skeletons in that town's closets!

Quebec City does ghost tours and the famous landmark hotel, the Chateau Frontenac, is said to be haunted by General Frontenac, who died over 200 years ago. Some say he has been seen strolling along in the rooftop herb garden.

I have never done any ghost tours. I actually don't know of any where I have been. I have been to Quebec but didn't know about that one. I will have to check this one out when I get back there.

A lot of places offer this kind of tour and they're fun to do after a long day of sightseeing. Our favorite places that do it are St. Augustine, Florida and Gettysburg, PA. I'd like to try Savannah's tours sometime. Oh, and I've heard that they're good in New Orleans, too.

I'd love to do a ghost tour in New Orleans. It's such a beautiful old city (or was, anyway--I haven't been there since hurricane Katrina) and I imagine it has some pretty hair-raising ghost stories.
