I know my brother is the member of this site called familytree...where he says it is really simple to fill in all details of the family and sometimes even trace members....do try it lyndseyy....other than that I have not used any proffesional help for finding family.

I think grandparents have a little more time to spend, a lot more stories to share and a lot more interesting things to say like the hunting expeditions they went to , the tale of kings and queens they met...
the more they tell about real but seemingly improbable things the more the stories become fascinating...and you want to relive those memories...if possible in this age.

Very few people would be able to afford to have their whole tree researched by a professional. Most just buy in professional help when they get stuck or when they want specific help such as looking up military records, or visiting a records office that they can not get to. Prices vary depending on the work involved but most researchers will give you an estimate.

Atula, one of the places was Trimulgherry, a relative is buried there. They also lived in Bangalore and Fyzabad. Unfortunately the parents became ill, they returned to England and shortly afterwards they both died.

that is sad....I have got friends in bangalore and my husband did his graduation from there....it would be wonderful if you could really come down, just to know a little more about the place your ancestors lived...
