I actually use the straw like a straw to get to the cream i.e. pull the cream through the straw....a little harder than drinking liquid stuff...but atleast people around me think I am just using my straw appropriately..

Never did figure out a less messy way to get to that whipped cream, but it doesn't stop me. I've even scooped it up with the rounded lid.

In some places they give you a straw with a little spoon shape at the end, it seems to solve the problem nicely. As I said before I don't drink coffee but my husband is a bit of a coffee addict.

It's thick, yes... and soooo good! Yes, the straw works, but I can get a lot more of it at a time in the lid. Problem is that it's a mess to get back on without dripping but I figure that's what the napkins are for!

Isn't it great that there are Starbucks all over the world?!

i don't know how i managed to survive without them Katharina...

not a big fan of mega corps, but like i said, i have been seduced, and i don't care..

THere is now a starbucks card, where you can load it up with a bit of cash, and then when you buy a drink using the card you don't pay for the extras like the whipped cream or the extra shots etc... worth it if you are a regular user... plus if you register your card, you get sent vouchers for free drinks, and and invite to try their new flavours free etc...

works for me..

Stav you have solved a mystery for me, I wondered why my husband has a starbucks card. I am not sure all those extras are good for him but he is not too good at resisting temptation.
