Super Typhoon Neoguri affects flights

Major airlines in Taiwan made changes to their flight schedules due to the expected disruption by Super Typhoon Neoguri, which is expected to hit Okinawa on Tuesday morning and Kyushu on Wednesday morning. China Airlines has changed its flights to take off one hour early on Monday and will use larger aircraft. Further, the two round-trip flights between Okinawa and Taipei on Tuesday are canceled.

Porter Airlines ordered to pay compensation to those bumped from domestic flights

Porter Airlines, which operates from the Toronto City Airport, has been ordered to pay compensation to passengers bumped from domestic flights. Until now, the airline didnít have a compensation policy but provided passengers a $500 voucher for future flights as ďa goodwill gesture.Ē

Road to the airport closed but flights are back on at Brandon Municipal Airport

Despite the main road to the airport being underwater, flights are back on at the McGill Field. Anyone heading to or from the airport will have to take a detour: Bloomsbury Road, also called Road 111 N, is about one mile west of the KK Penner tire company and on the north side of the Trans-Canada Highway.
