Lufthansa Ground Staff Strike Causes Flight Cancelations Tuesday, 23 April 2013 Lufthansa has canceled the majority of its scheduled flights on Monday as the airline’s ground staff stage a one-day strike. The airline has plans to operate only 32 of 1700 scheduled flights and they are now complaining about the excessive tactics used by the union. Lufhansa Cancels Most of Its Scheduled Flights on Monday Due to Strike Monday, 22 April 2013 German airline Lufthansa has canceled the majority of their scheduled flights for Monday, in preparation for a one-day strike to be held by their ground staff. They have 7,259 A380 flights scheduled to fly to 28 destinations. In second place is Singapore Changi, with a total of 6,653 A380 flights scheduled to fly to 19 destinations.
