Delta not expanding in 2016 as planned
Thursday, 15 October 2015
On Wednesday, Delta announced it will not expand flights in 2016 as planned; instead, it will fill up more planes and sell more seats per flight. The airline said its total mileage flown by seats will grow from zero to two percent in 2016, compared to this year's three percent. Wall Street analysts say the foreign demand for U.S. carriers has grown stagnant, which means airlines have reduced international service so that fewer discount fares are required to sell out flights. this is a good thing for the airline industry.
