Claims made by Dutch investigators puts blame on pro-Russian militants in Malaysian flight that was

The Dutch Safety Board has been looking into the shooting down of a Malaysian Airlines passenger plane in east Ukraine almost a year ago and is claiming that it is pro-Russian militants who are to blame. These claims about Flight MH17 were made in a newly released report from the Dutch investigators. The report is now being sent to the US National Transportation Safety Board and to Boeing for further review.

SkyWest airlines faces safety violations fines

The fines have really racked up for SkyWest Airlines which now faces a $1.23M fine for safety violations. The Federal Aviation Administration is the one who has proposed the fine regarding violations that supposedly occurred on thousands of flights. The issue is that these flights took place despite the face maintenance inspections were required and not performed.

Activists manage to get flights cancelled at Heathrow

There were 21 flights cancelled at Heathrow Airport on the weekend and the reason being was rather unexpected. It seems as though 13 climate change protesters managed to make it through a Heathrow fence at 3:30am and then stage a seven-hour sit-in right on the runway. This was a security breach and because of that the airport will now be reviewing its security measures.
