Monday, 09 October 2006
auckland_bungy3-tmNew Zealander's love their well-earned reputation as the adventure sport capital of the world. If you ask, they would love to let you know that the modern sport of bungy jumping pretty much traces its start back to New Zealand's large selection of high, gorge spanning bridges.

So if you want to participate, change your life or just get a great view (if you can keep your eyes open) of Auckland's Waitamata Harbor followed by a heck of a scare, you, yes you can catch some serious air at the Auckland Bridge Bungy Jump . You'll jump for a specially built "Bungy Pod" and you can actually request a "water touch" if you like. It includes static savfety line to get you out to the Bungy Pod and back and the requisite tshirt. If you want to amaze your family and friends, you can purchase video and photographs for an extra charge.
