British Airways is about to give up its policy of giving free meals to all of its passengers in an effort to compete with budget airline rivals. The chairman and CEO, Alex Cruz, says the carrier should start charging short-haul passengers for meals and snacks.

Regina Airport Authority CEO promises to replace lost U.S. flights

The CEO of Regina Airport Authority, Dick Graham, says they’re not going to change the name of Regina International Airport when Delta Air Lines service stops at the end of July. Although this marks the end of direct flights from the airport to U.S. destinations by American carriers, he says “We’re going to replace (lost U.S.) services, we’re going to grow in our passenger numbers.”
