Emirates Faces New Obstacles with Their India Flights Monday, 04 March 2013 Emirates is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world and they have plans to launch new flights to India to meet the growing demand. However, they have hit a snag, according to airline president, Tim Clark. Clark has said the obstacles they face are on the Indian sub-continent and they have nothing to do with funding. European Union Requires Airlines to Pay for Late Flights Thursday, 28 February 2013 The highest court in the European Union has declared that airlines are responsible for compensating customers who are on connecting flights and are at least three hours late arriving at their final destination. The ruling came in on Tuesday and it made it clear that it does not matter if the original flight was not delayed beyond the limits that have been imposed by European Union law.
