KLM Launches Flights from Kent to Amsterdam Wednesday, 03 April 2013 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is launching flights from Manston Airport in Kent to Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. The flight will operate twice daily and are 55 minutes in duration. This will enable passengers from Kent to easily connect with flights to destinations around the world. Thanet North Conservative MP Sir Roger Gale said that using Manston as a hub for Schiphol was a tremendous opportunity for Manston, although it could potentially take business away from the UK aviation industry.
