KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is launching flights from Manston Airport in Kent to Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. The flight will operate twice daily and are 55 minutes in duration. This will enable passengers from Kent to easily connect with flights to destinations around the world. Thanet North Conservative MP Sir Roger Gale said that using Manston as a hub for Schiphol was a tremendous opportunity for Manston, although it could potentially take business away from the UK aviation industry.

Fortunately, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has been conducting a study into the use of electronic devices on flights and the result of the study might have them relaxing the rules by the end of 2013. |

With easyJet beginning flights to Moscow on Monday, more and more people are considering vacationing in Russia. According to TripAdvisor.com, there is a rise of 99% in interest in hotels in Russia. As soon as the ticket for the new flights went on sale in January, those going on holidays started planning their trips to Russia. A spokesperson with TripAdvisor said the launch of the low-cost flights as certainly sparked the interest of British travelers. |
