Waterloo Airport is struggling and now they are teaming up with the struggling American Airlines. Starting in June of next year, American Airlines will operate daily flights from Waterloo to Chicago. This will reopen cross-border flights and allow more passengers to easily access more destinations. The Region of Waterloo International Airport has flights to Ottawa and Calgary. Flights from Waterloo to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport will allow passengers to connect with dozens of U.S. destinations. American Airlines filed last month for court protection from bankruptcy and Waterloo Airport has been struggling to keep their passenger service. The first flight departs from Waterloo on June 14, 2012 at 6:30 am and arrives in Chicago at 6:55 am. The second daily flight departs Waterloo at 4:40 pm and arrives in Chicago at 5:15 pm. Return flights depart at 3:55 pm and 10:15 pm. See the original Google News article for more details. |
