A six-month job that pays $10,000 per month and includes accommodations would be a fantastic boon to anyone and if the job was at a winery that would be even better. This will be the reality for one lucky winner of a contest being run by the Murphy-Goode Winery. Located in Healdsburg, California, the winery wishes to hire someone who can take care of all their media needs. This new employee will be given the title “Murphy-Goode Wine Country Lifestyle Correspondent" and the job entails reporting to people all about how good it is in Sonoma County Wine Country and all about what they are learning about making wine.
The winner will live in a fabulous home in the tourist town of Healdsburg and will be responsible for touring the vineyards and other destinations in Sonoma Wine Country, tasting hundreds of different wines and chatting with the locals in the tasting rooms, learning how to make the wine, working with wine-maker David Ready, Jr., to create a completely new wine, and delivering to the public reports about what they are doing via blogs, video updates, social media, and other means. |
