American Airlines accused of failing to protect girl on flight
Tuesday, 21 June 2016
American Airlines is being accused of not doing its job of protecting a girl who was molested on a flight. Despite her father paying extra for an unaccompanied minor, her parents are saying she was left alone to sit beside a man who, for half an hour, touched the 13-year-old girl inappropriately.

Earlier in the flight, they had offered to move the man, Chad Cameron Camp, to another seat, but he declined. He was eventually caught by a flight attendant with his hand on the girl’s crotch. He was moved to the rear of the plane and the girl to the front; he was arrested by the FBI upon landing and charged with abusive sexual contact.
