|Wednesday, 18 August 2010|
A new offer is available from American Airlines. Express Seats is a new addition to the airline's Your Choice line of products and allows American Airlines passengers to purchase a seat in the first few rows of Economy Class seating. These seats include bulkhead seats and people who purchase these seats will also have the privilege of boarding with Group 1 during General Boarding.
These Express Seats are available to any American Airlines customers and can be purchased within the time frame of 24 hours to 50 prior to boarding. They can only be purchased through the Self-Service Checked-In machines that are available in the airport and they are for travel only within the U.S., including the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Pricing for Express Seats is based on distance and introductory pricing starts as low as $19. American Airlines customers can still pre-reserve other seating in the Coach Cabin at no extra charge and there is still complimentary seating available to customers purchasing full-fare tickets, AAdvantageŽ elite status members, and oneworldŽ elite status members. However, this separate from Express Seats.
