 Just in time for the summer travel season, Amtrak has lowered fares on their Northeast Regional service. Riders can save up to 25% off of the lowest available fares when they book 14 days in advance. The discount runs from June 2nd through September 3rd and only applies to regional trains that run from Washington to Boston.Some sample fares are: To/From New York Philadelphia, PA - $34 Washington, DC - $49 Boston, MA - $49 To/From Washington Philadelphia, PA -$33 Baltimore, MD -$11 Trenton, NJ -$46 To/From Philadelphia Baltimore, MD - $30 Newark, NJ - $34 Boston, MA - $60 To/From Boston New York, NY - $49 Providence, RI - $9 Washington, DC - $65 These fares are valid for discounted one-way Coach fares only; no Business class upgrades allowed. Fares are non-refundable. Exchanges are permitted for other rail fare purchases. Other restrictions may apply, for more details, visit Amtrak's web site. |
