Amtrak Winter Getaway Sale

For those people who are planning on traveling this winter, Amtrak has a wonderful deal on winter travel. Passengers traveling between January 19 and March 31, 2010 and who have booked their travel by January 25, will receive 20% off their one-way fares. The sale is valid on 15 of Amtrak's long-distance route, including routes such as Silver Star (New York - Miami), Cardinal (New York - Chicago), Sunset Limited (New Orleans - Houston - Los Angeles), California Zephyr (Chicago - Denver - San Francisco Bay area), Coast Starlight (Seattle - Sacramento - Los Angeles) and more.

Reservations must be made at least three days prior to travel and the seats and times for this deal are limited to a first-come-first-served basis. There are some blackout dates that apply and tickets are non-refundable and apply only to coach seating.
