 Any pet owner who travels with their pet knows that it is not easy to find a hotel that will accept their furry friend. Those hotels and other accommodations that do allow pets to stay often require large deposits and/or extra fees to allow a pet to stay. Now petside.com has released their list of top five pet-friendly budget hotel chains for those looking to take Fido with them the next time they travel.These top five hotel chains include Motel 6, La Quinta Inns & Suites, Red Roof Inn, Best Western, and Candlewood Suites. Motel 6 allows one pet per room at any of their 900 locations. La Quinta Inns & Suites allow pets to stay at nearly all of their more than 700 lodgings and they do not require extra fees or deposits. Red Roof also does not require fees or deposits and accepts pets at all of their locations. Best Western is the largest of the pet-friendly hotel chains and has 1900 pet-friendly locations, 1000 of which are in the U.S. and Canada. Finally, Candlewood Suites allows pets that weigh less than 80 pounds and they do charge an additional fee. |
