It is private in that the message can only be seen by the recipient and that the administrators do not monitor or have access to the messages themselves. However, keep in mind that all of the information in our system is powered by databases and therefore the message itself is archived in a database. So don't post information here or anywhere else on the internet that you don't want anyone, anywhere to find out about.
