Those wishing to take a direct flight from Bozeman to New York may soon be able to do just that. According to Brian Sprenger, Airport Director, the new Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport is just about to finalize a deal with an airline that will see direct flights to New York. As of yet they cannot announce which airline they are close to striking a deal with, but the proposal looks promising, says Sprenger. Part of the deal with the airline was that community funds be raised and they are in the process of doing so, hoping to close the deal within the month. They are still working with community partners to raise the funds required to put together with the federal grant they have received. Then they will be able to set a flight schedule.
