Cuba is on place that most Americans have not been able to travel for the past 50 years, but that is finally about to change thanks to Insight Cuba. Insight Cuba is the leader in providing legal people-to-people travel to Cuba and now the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), part of the U.S. Treasury Office, has reauthorized Insight Cuba to start sending Americans to Cuba once again.
Insight Cuba came on the scene in 2000 and that year they sent the most people to Cuba since 1963, helping them to travel under a specific license. In 2004, U.S. government regulations on travel to Cuba were tightened and travel was disallowed. Since then, Insight Cuba has continued to develop their relationship with Cuba with the thoughts of starting up travel in the future. Insight Cuba send groups of 16 or fewer people to Cuba where they are in the hands of a local host or escort that will ensure the travelers have the trip of a lifetime with 5-star accommodations, meals, ground transportation, and domestic flights in Cuba included. |
