 WeatherUnderground.com has just launched a new partnership with Google Maps by embedding their weather information in to maps across the U.S. The directions in Google maps, when accessed from the wunderground site, will now include weather-related information as well as directions.After inserting the date and time of your trip together with the request for directions, the temperature along the route is listed as well as possible rainstorms, snowstorms, icing, etc. This is great for Google map users and provides yet another venue for WeatherUnderground to serve up their weather data. The road trip section on WeatherUnderground.com can be found at wunderground.com/roadtrip The weather site also have an excellent planning tool for anyone thinking about a trip to a national park. The site provides weather information for 50 national parks in an easy-to-click-to format. |
