Hotel Chain Pays Back Guests for Their Checked Bag Fees
Thursday, 26 August 2010
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is giving something back to their guests. Any guests between August 16 and the end of the year who stay at one of the IHG hotels for a minimum two-night stay that includes the weekend nights, will be reimbursed for their checked baggage fees. Guests can participate in the program every time they travel and stay a weekend in one of the more than 4500 IHG hotels.

The average checked baggage fee for return trips is $50. Del Ross, Vice President U.S. Sales and Marketing, says that with the fall coming on there are many travel opportunities, but that checked baggage fees can really add up. IHG just wants to help ease the burden on their guests.

Hotels in the IHG chain include Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Club Vacations, Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza, InterContinental, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suits, and Candlewood Suites. Guests participating in the Check It Free program must book and pay for their stay with their Visa Card.
