In response to repeated complaints from passengers who have been put out by Kingfisher's flight cancellations and have not been able to cancel their flights to save themselves the hassle of having it cancelled last minute, Kingfisher has now informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) that they will remove cancelled flights from the booking list. The airline has been cancelling between 30 and 35 flights per day on average since early November in an effort to add a business class section to all its economy planes. These are referred to by the airline as planned cancellations and they are now removing these from there booking list. The DGCA has been in contact with the airline to determine what they have been doing to care for passengers who have been affected by the flight cancellations.
