Korean Air Announces Unique Business Class on A380
Tuesday, 28 December 2010
Korean Air is about to launch its very first A380 aircraft and the upper deck will be completely devoted to business class passengers. The aircraft will be launched in May and Walter Cho, Senior Vice President and head of the Passenger Business Division, says that with the business travelers on the upper deck they will feel as though they are traveling in their own private aircraft.

The business class seating is called Prestige Class and it features 94 lie-flat sleepers, 74 inches between seats, and big seat partitions, which offers extreme comfort. The A380 has a total of 407 seats, with the 94 Prestige Class on the upper deck and 12 first class and 301 economy class seats on the lower deck. Korean Air has ordered 10 of these new aircraft and the first five will be delivered by the end of 2011 and the other five to be delivered by 2014.
