- Francisco Pizarro laid the first stone here and one of the chapels holds the remains of the famous conquistador himself.
Museo de la Inquisición - Prisoners were tortured in the basement of this building during the Spanish Inquisition. Today the underground dungeons and torture chambers are open to visitors for viewing.

Museo de Arte de Lima - This museum is home to a variety of exhibitions ranging from pre-Columbian to modern Peruvian art.
