A New Beginning

Since this is my first entry and i assume other people are reading it, I would like to talk about the country where I now live. I came to Israel as a tourist and apart from visits to North America, I have stayed ever since. If a person is not of a heavy religous persuasion or molded by some zionist theology, I srael takes a special cultivated taste to endure and really enjoy the country. I cannot honestly say that I do not love the country as a whole but rather I am passionate about the region I live. I live in the North, next to the Sea of Galilee. The magic in the air transports to a time in the States when I was a child growing up in the early sixties. Everyone knows everyone and beach towns are beach towns. The wierd pard on a technology base, my area is more advanced than most. I live in Tiberias. and I am heavily involved with tourism in and out of the area. Having said, I invite anyone to PM me if they need any assistance in planning to come here. It is my wish by joining this travel community to share some of my experiences in the Galilee and as well, with your indulgence talk about some of the more really special sites in the area.
