An interesting and wonderful piece of information that many people may not know is that many of the U.S. national parks never charge an entrance fee, but if travelers wish to visit any of the national parks for free they can do so America's Best Idea. On November 11, 2010 as well as a number of other days throughout the year national parks, including 100 of those that generally charge entrance fees, will be allowing visitors in for free.
