This surveillance system will allow the pilots to constantly monitor the happenings on the flight from start to finish. It is also suspected that access to this security surveillance will be granted to security staff, including U.S. air marshalls, although this has not yet been confirmed. This would greatly aid the security staff with ensuring the safety of the passengers and crew during a flight. Not only will they be able to monitor the passenger cabin, but they will be able to detect any and all activity in the cargo hold as well.
