Bed bugs are once again becoming a major problem in the U.S. and when traveling it is not uncommon to find these little critters and even bring them home in your luggage. Terminix has compiled its new list of Most Bed Bug Infested Cities and once again New York has topped it. Terminix is the largest provider of pest control services in the U.S. and they report an increase in bed bugs in nearly every state. Other cities that made the list include Cincinnati; Detroit; Chicago; Philadelphia; Denver; Washington, D.C.; Los Angeles; Boston; San Francisco; Columbus, Ohio; Dayton, Ohio; Baltimore; Louisville, Kentucky; and Dallas. Terminix compiled the list from data collected from its branches throughout the country. They used records of confirmed cases and reports made by people calling to complain about bed bugs. Indianapolis, Minneapolis, and Cleveland do not appear on the list this year, but Dallas, Baltimore, and San Francisco appear for the first time. |
