The UPS Store now has a luggage box that will help travelers avoid some of the fees and hassles that come with airline security and travel. The boxes come in two sizes, small and large, are made from recycled corrugate, and have a convenient carrying handle. The small box can be taken as a carry-on and the large box can be checked through. The luggage boxes weighs less than an empty suitcase and minimizes the chances of getting charged for over-sized or over-weight baggage.

In addition, UPS can ship these boxes via the UPS Ground service, which is competitively priced compared to the checked baggage costs charged by the major airlines. Many airlines charge more than $100 for baggage that is of comparable size to the luggage box. AAA members can also receive a 15% discount on products sold at the UPS Store and 5% off the cost of shipping within the U.S. Shipping can easily be tracked with mobile apps and the online cost calculator can be used to find the lowest shipping costs.
