Prior to Katrina, the cruise lines were adding a lot of business to the local New Orleans tourism industry and their return is important to New Orleans recovery efforts. Since New Orleans is such a famous destination unto itself, many passengers added several days either before or after their cruise to see the sights ahd hear the sounds of this wonderful city.

If you are considering a cruise in the upcoming months, you should certainly consider supporting the rebirth of New Orleans, a national treasure that deserves our support.
