Polls: Flying and Travel AgentsLast month's poll "Does flying make you nervous?" had 125 votes with 55% of the respondents saying "Yes". Almost exactly half of the Yes votes found that the hassles of flying is what made them nervous. Understandable considering the changing security regulations and the steep rise in flight delays and overbooked flights.
This month's poll asks "Do you still use a local travel agent?". We think more people should considering that the travel agents still in business are the ones who know their business. If you value your time, an hour spent with a local travel agent will usually yield more real value to you than 10 hours spent online.

We're an online agency sure, so why do we say nice things about so called "brick and mortar" travel agents? Because if you are buying a plane ticket or need to find a hotel for a business trip, the internet is usually the way to go. But if you are planning a family vacation or a complicated multi-day itinerary, you should leave it to the pros who cost you nothing and can use their expertise to make your precious travel time count.
