 Effective April 28, 2008, Eos Airlines has ceased operating all flights. The airline announced on April 26 that it had filed for bankruptcy protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York.British Airways and Silverjet are offering reduced rate concessions to affected ticket holders that can provide proof of purchase. Contact British Airways at 1-800-AIRWAYS and Silverjet at 1-877-359-7458 for details. Customers who purchased Eos tickets and made payment by credit card and are unable to obtain a refund should contact their credit card company to dispute the charge. The Fair Credit Billing Act allows consumers to dispute charges for services that are not received.
