Norwegian Cruise Line Launches New YouTube Travel Channel

Norwegian Cruise Line is teaming up with YouTube to create the very first travel channel in the world. The channel will be called YouTube Vacationer and will feature travel experts from organizations such as National Geographic, Lonely Planet, and Travel Channel, giving advice and tips that will inspire travel ideas in those who view the videos.

In addition, YouTube Vacationer is an interactive tool that will allow travelers to create what is known as “Vacation You”, a video experience to share with the world through Twitter, Facebook, and email. To create videos with “Vacation You”, travelers can choose from millions of short video clips that, when put together, create a 60-90 second video montage of their ideal Freestyle Cruising vacation.

In fact, Norwegian's signature Freestyle Cruising is the inspiration for this YouTube site and the site offers visitors the same freedom and flexibility that the Freestyle Cruising option offers passengers aboard Norwegian Cruise Line ships.
