World's best views from a restaurant 2 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0  
Travel and Leisure magazine just published their listing for what they consider to be the world's best views from a restaurant.


Included of course, is the Le Jules Verne restaurant at the top of the Eiffel Tower. The web site has a great slide show of the views as well...

The Astral, at the Loews Le Concorde in Quebec City provides a rotating rooftop view that is impressive.

Nice list! Eating in the Eiffel Tower is definitely on my to-do list of things I'd like to experience whenever that happens to be possible. I hope the height won't mess with my inner ear, but too bad if it does!

I've not been able to eat at a place with such an impressive view as some of these places (well no so far anyhow!) I just looked up that travel and leisure list and they sound fabulous. I'd like to do the Eagle's Eye Restaurant in British Columbia... sounds beautiful!

Years ago, there was a rotating restaurant at the very top of one of the hotels in Denver. The view was spectacular and there was always a waiting list for reservations.

When the mechanism that turned the restaurant failed, they simply closed it down, which I think was a mistake.
