Traveling for the 4th? 6 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
I didn't see this topic being discussed anywhere, so I'm sorry if it's a duplicate.

Any American forum users here doing some traveling over the holiday weekend? I never do and this year is no different.

I've heard that for the first time, 4th of July travel is down in this country. No big wonder why, I guess.

We have noticed that international flights are definitely off this year and domestic flights seem to have increased.

We're going to just do some short "staycation" stuff ourselves this year, not to far from the home.

Well, I wanted to travel, but I don't have the budget to do so. I wish I could go to Europe and see my nephews there, but I'm waiting for the fall... maybe the prices will fall too, even a bit.

I'm hoping the same for fall, Berlinlife. We'll be traveling on I95 again but I'm thinking that we'll probably pay as much for the road trip gas now as you will pay for an airline ticket. My goodness!
